Trips
Since it’s inception the group has organised a number of trips to transport related locations using either luxury coaches or vintage buses. These are open to everyone (members and non-members) and are held to raise funds for the group.

Our Next trip
Our next trip is to the North Yorkshire Moors Railway and Whitby on Sunday September 20th, which gives two options :
a) Leave Sowerby Bridge Railway Station at 07:30am and arrive in Pickering in time to get the 10:00am train to Whitby (supplementary charge of £22.00), arriving at 11:50 giving approximately 5 hours in Whitby before getting the coach back from Whitby at 5:00pm. Arrival time back at Sowerby Bridge approximately 7:00pm.
b) Leave Sowerby Bridge Railway Station at 07:30am and arrive in Whitby at approximately 10:00am giving approximately 7 hours in Whitby before getting the coach back from Whitby at 5:00pm. Arrival time back at Sowerby Bridge approximately 7:00pm.
The cost for the Coach fare is ADULTS £25 (FofSBRS member or sponsor £22.50) with deposits of £15.00 being accepted to reserve a seat, CHILD £13.00 with the optional steam train ride being an extra £22.00 for adults and £11.00 for children (under 16).
