In memory of one of our founder Members John Hartley The Friends of Sowerby Bridge have published a book. The book reproduces the 40 local-interest Information Boards displayed at the Railway Station that John was involved in the research for, along with the text for 44 others that have not been seen before. The book commemorates local people and events throughout the history of Sowerby Bridge and the surrounding area. The book is A4 format, softback, 100 pages and is priced at a very reasonable £10.00 per copy, it is available from the following outlets:
